Great success on the South-North Latin American Workshop on Geometry I.
During the 26th, 27th and 28th of May 2021, successfully brought the first workshop "South-North Latin American Workshop on Geometry", organized by Research Center "Geometry at the Frontier" (UFRO, Chile) and the Centro de Investigación Matemática (CIMAT, México), under an International Cooperation Network project financed by ANID.
The activity had more than 100 attendees, including graduate students and academics, mainly from Chile, Ecuador and Mexico. During these three days, 9 prominent Chilean and foreign speakers participated, who addressed topics related to complex geometry, to publicize their progress and results of their research.

This grant has made it possible to strengthen the development of research in "Geometry" to southern Chile and will of course continue to open new spaces for scientific collaboration.
We thank you to all who participated of this workshop!
